EULAR Course on Epidemiology (deadline April 4th 2018)
EULAR Course on Epidemiology (June 29-20th 2018, Berlin)
Epidemiological research has become an essential tool in the study of the etiology, prognosis, treatment and natural history of rheumatic diseases, and in assessing health effects in populations; outcomes research is also very important in clinical research.
The EULAR Course on Epidemiology is 2 day course aimed at young European rheumatologists/HPR/researchers with some experience in epidemiology/outcomes research. The main goal of the course is to increase the interest, knowledge and skills of young researchers in epidemiology and stimulate critical thinking in the design and reading of research studies.
Furthermore, the course will also allow young researchers to get together, which will facilitate future collaborations; as well as interact with the prestigious speakers.
The course will further focus on interactive learning and practical training, as reflected in the time dedicated for discussion and workshops (see flyer attached).
This course will be selective, with competitive admission (application form and further instructions can be found in the link below). Deadline for registration is April 4th 2018.
A number of course bursaries are available upon application (deadline for bursaries is April 4th 2018).
